Hibiscus Studio
Messner Architects

Bolzano, Italy 2020

The Hibiscus naturopathy Studio was created in the workshop of Messner Architects’ father Franz Messner (+ 2017).
Close to the impressive forge and the ancient Ajax falling hammer, you enter through a wooden door to the now Maria's studio.
A bright space with comfortable seats welcomes customers.
A desk, wardrobe and sink complete this work, while the massage area is located behind a bookcase that acts as a separator element. The studio opens along the entire facade onto a sunny courtyard. Accompanied by the crackling fire in the small stove on winter days, by the gurgling water that flows in the transparent pipe when it rains, by the flickering of walnut leaves in the summer: Hibiscus is a relaxing place, which heats or cools as needed.
A place above all to be listened to and guided.
